SHORT STORY ELEMENT	WHAT IS IT?	EXAMPLE
setting	The time and location in which a story takes place is called the setting	When the kids is young Where in the forest
conflict	Within a short story there may be only one central struggle, or there may be one dominant struggle with many minor ones.
point of view	is defined as the angle from which the story is told	The point of view the author is leave conscience in the history
plot	The plot is how the author arranges events to develop his basic idea	The basic idea is the help to the tree for the kid
character	There are two meanings for the word character: 1) The person in a work of fiction. 2)  The characteristics of a person	The  character most important of the history  is the tree and the kid
theme	The theme in a piece of fiction is its controlling idea or its central insight	The theme of the history is pass to the years the boy grow up to the tree

pASsIVe VoIcE aNd CoNdItIoNaLs

1.     The passive tense is used because:

- The person who did the action is unknown.

- It is not important who did the action.

      2. When do we use the passive voice?

- It is obvious who did the action.

- Someone is trying to hide who did it.

3. The structure to use the passive voice in the :

PRESENT TENSE is Object+To be (present)+Past Participle+(by + subject)* *If needed
